Disneyland and California Adventures!

On Wednesday we went back to Disneyland and California Adventures. We went really early to get in line to meet the Princesses... 1 hr. and 45 min. later we finally got to meet them! The best part is... there were only 3!!! I was SO mad! Oh well... 2 of them were my favorite!

We spent most of the morning and the first part of the afternoon at Disneyland. Ethan had been dying to go see the Star Wars Show... so we went! Ethan LOVES Star Wars and we were SO excited because he got picked to go up and be in the Padawan training! They got to go up and get robes and lightsabers and then they learned how to fight.

They each got a turn to either go on stage and fight Darth Vader or Darth Mal... Ethan got to fight Darth Vader! It was way cool. Ethan and Brandon have lightsaber wars all the time so Eth is pretty good at it! In the middle of fighting they said that he did so well fighting Darth Vader... and then all of a sudden the Clones came after him. Then the Jedi Master told him to use the force on them, so he did! It was so fun to watch and he was the only kid that got to use the force on them! He was really excited. After they all got certificates declaring them Padawans! I am SO glad we did that with him! I think it was the highlight of Disneyland for him! (Brandon and Eth went and custom built a lightsaber there... he loves it!)

We headed over to California Adventures a little later in the afternoon and we were SO sad because we didn't know they closed early, so we only had a few hours to try and do everything.

We were going to do the Mickey Mouse rollercoaster but it was closed for a while and by the time it opened again we didn't have enough time because the park closed. Everyone went on the Tower of Terror but me (I had to watch Skunk, haha) and at the last minute Kristi chickened out! Haha. Poor Eth was up there crying SO hard, but Brandon made him go... he got off and was shaking! He did say it was his favorite ride, but he did NOT want to go on it again! :)

We went on Soaring California... I really like that! It felt so real. We also went to the Bug's Life Show! That was so much fun!

Eth lost his glasses somewhere in California Adventures! I was not very happy because they were a brand new pair (his second pair in 2 months!) Kristi looked everywhere and they were nowhere to be found. We are thinking that he accidently threw them in the 3D bucket when Kristi took him to a show. Boys! Haha.

I was so sad to leave Disneyland. I wish that we would have had at least one week there! It was SO magical and so much fun! I had a blast spending so much time with Kristi, Mike, and Skunk! I can't wait to go back!
